The Warren County ABLE program, located in the lower Level of the OhioMeansJobs Warren County, provides programs to prepare adults for the General Equivalency Diploma testing. They also have a program to teach English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), along with classes to teach basic computer skills to those who have never used a computer.

Franklin Area Community Services

Franklin Area Community Services is a non-profit (501c3) organization that serves Franklin, Springboro, and Carlisle. Our building is at:

The Rehabilitation Services Commission helps by providing services such as evaluation, job training, personal adjustment training, job placement, counseling and follow-up to those with disabilities. Appointments are scheduled at the One-Stop upon request.

Small Business Development Center

The SBDC program is a vital resource to Ohio’s small businesses and an indispensible partner in America’s economic development initiatives. SBDC’s engage in outreach activities designed to link programs and services to reach deep into the entrepreneurial communities and to collaborate with the widest cross-section of economic development players. SBDC’s also work hard to maximize and leverage available financial resources. SBDC’s have a resolute determination to provide support and assistance to the individual entrepreneur to ensure they have the best chance of thriving in the 21st Century. The Four-Seven Re-Entry Coalition

The Four-Seven Re-Entry Coalition is dedicated to empowering individuals returning from incarceration by providing comprehensive support, resources, and opportunities to successfully reintegrate into our communities, reducing recidivism and promoting a safer society. The Four-Seven can assist with topics ranging from housing, employment, mental health resources, addition treatment, community, as well as education & vocational training.

Warren County Career Center provides a variety of training programs for adults that range from computer technology to heavy equipment training. The Career Center also has customized training programs geared to the specific needs of a business.

The Warren County Community Services is the Community Action Agency for Warren County. As such, they administer Head Start, Family Services, Help Me Grow and Senior Services. They are a United Way agency.

Warren County Department of Human Services

The Warren County Department of Human Services works with people in need of services to help them achieve safety, security and self-sufficiency. They administer the Ohio Works First (Cash Assistance), Food Stamp, Medicaid, S.S.I., Work Activities, Adult Protective and Prevention Retention and Contingency Programs at the county level.

The Veterans Service Commission can assist Veterans and their dependents with basic needs when they run into financial difficulty. Veterans must have served on active duty for reasons other than training and received a discharge under honorable conditions. The types of assistance may include rent, food, utility bills being paid in part or in full, transportation assistance, mental health counseling through the Dayton VA and employment assistance.
