Ohio Labor Market Information

Ohio's Labor Market Information site provides the state's employment, labor force and unemployment statistics, occupations and wages, leading economic indicators, workforce trends and many other items of interest to employers and job seekers.

ODJFS

The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services has a job matching database on which employers may list their job orders by logging directly into the site. Their job order will be matched against the qualifications indicated by job seekers. The job seekers will be notified of the opening. If they wish, employers may call the OhioMeansJobs Warren County Business Advocate 513-695-2671 to have the job posting listed in the database or complete the job order form request form.

Work Opportunity/WtW Tax Credits Programs

Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) explains the tax benefits employers may derive from hiring targeted individuals.

Federal Bonding

The U.S. Department of Labor established Federal Bonding Program in 1966 to provide Fidelity Bonds for “at-risk,” hard-to-place job seekers. The bonds cover the first six months of employment at no cost to the job applicant or the employer.

U.S. Department of Labor

The U.S. Department of Labor provides systems for helping to connect people with employment. They maintain wage information, health and benefits information and national labor market information. They provide oversight of federal wage and hour laws.
